To help increase sales of Nestle's KitKat, one of
the UK’s favourite confectionary bars, 7digital worked with Ogilvy
Interactive to give KitKat customers a free music track with every bar
sold.
Built using 7digital’s API, an online fulfilment site was created to
allow customers to simply enter the voucher code printed on the wrapper
s of KitKat bars and download their chosen track from a repertoire from
Universal Music’s catalogue. All rights management was handled by
7digital.
45 million wrappers with download voucher codes were produced with the
campaign running for 6 months and supported by a national TV, press and
poster campaign.
